WAEC Release May/June WASSCE results 2022 – The results for the 2022 May/June diet of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates will be released, according to a Monday announcement by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
A total of 1,222,505 candidates, or 76.36 percent of the 1,601,047 candidates who successfully took the exam, obtained credits or higher in a minimum of five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, according to the examination body.
The Head of Nigeria Office (HNO), Patrick Areghan, announced the results at the exam body’s headquarters in Lagos. He noted that 624,694 candidates, or 39.02 percent of the total, were female while 597,811 candidates, or 37.34 percent, were male.

The results for 1,437,629 candidates, or 89.79% of the total, have been fully processed and released, while for 163,418 candidates, or 10.21%, some of their subjects are “still being processed due to some issues being resolved.”
To enable all the impacted candidates to receive their results fully processed and released within the following week, he said, “efforts are, however, being made to speedily complete the processing.”
