- Welding metal parts together using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick and Oxy-Acetylene
- Inspecting and testing completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and standards
- Repairing or modifying metal structures or equipment as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
- Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations
- Communicating effectively with other tradespeople and supervisors
- Keeping accurate records of work performed
