NECO GCE Registration 2022 Closing Date

NECO GCE 2022 registration commences on 9th September 2022 and ends on 15 November 2022 at midnight. It is recommended that you register and submit all necessary information prior to the registration deadline if you are interested in sitting for the 2022 NECO examination for external candidates.
- Late registration will incur an additional fee of N1,000 (one thousand naira).

How to Apply for NECO 2022 GCE Form
Mode of Payment for 2022 NECO GCE Form:
Candidates or registration locations (cyber cafes) must go to www.neco.gov.ng, register an account using their email addresses or phone numbers, activate their accounts, and pay into the NECOSA using one of five payment methods.

Application for Registration:
Both online and offline registrations are accepted. To find the closest registration location (Cybercafe), prospective candidates should use the Council’s website, neco.gov.ng SSCE External link, and register at any time during the allotted registration period. In order to register, candidates can also set up an account, buy a registration token, and then go to the registration point.
- For registration, a passport-size photograph is needed. The candidate’s passport-size photo must have a white background and be no older than SIX MONTHS.
- The passport-sized photo may also be taken at the time of registration using a system camera, if necessary.
- Each candidate’s biometric fingerprints will be taken during the offline registration process.

External Registration Token for NECO SSCE
Candidates can register for the SSCE External Exam either independently or through a Registration Point using the Registration Token. A candidate must buy a registration token before they can take the SSCE External Exam. A candidate can either visit the closest Registration Point or purchase a Registration Token from their accounts.
General Information for GCE Registration 2022 External Candidates
- Once paid, the registration fee is not refundable.
- Because the Council is not responsible for candidate registration mistakes, using reputable cybercafés is strongly advised. (A list of suggested cyber cafes in every state where candidates can log on to register is available on the NECO website under Internet Service Operators.)
- Before registering, candidates should carefully read and follow the directions on the online scratch card.
- Before registering, candidates should review the regulations and syllabuses.
- Candidates should be aware that their registration-related uploaded photo or image will be embossed on their certificates.
- In the exam room, smoking, using a phone, or using any other electronic communication device is prohibited.
- No one will be permitted to enter the examination room with arms, and candidates are required to wear muftis.
- No more than one entry may be made. Multiple registrations by candidates will result in the cancellation of all of their results.
- Candidates who lose or damage their scratch cards prior to registration will need to buy a new one.
